Sadly, as much as we would love it, server hosting isn't free. Frackin' Universe (FU) is a mod for the game Starbound expanding upon the game in hundreds of ways. This server is crowdfunded, meaning finances for it come from its players. The server is being hosted on and is located in Dallas, Texas, United States. If you find the server to be down, feel free to ping the Game Server Staff role in the discord.ĭisclaimer: the number of player slots may change in future, depending of the capabilities of the server. It will also come with automatic mod updates and automatic restarts in the even of crashes or any other failure. The server, right now, has 32 player slots and will work around the clock. The server uses a custom collection of mods which you need to subscribe to first in order to be able to join.

Anyone is welcome to join to play together with friends, family, and other members of our community. Please join the official FU Discord to get the information required to access and play on the server. Therefore, many of these biomes will require specialized equipment in order for the player to safely explore them. Many biomes (such as Aether Sea, Atropus, and Super Dense) have rare or unique effects not seen in the base game. Frackin' Universe Official Game Server Collection Numerous biomes are added through Frackin' Universe, in addition to the standard biomes included in Starbound.
